SIX SIGMA MASTER/TRAIN THE TRAINER
Course overview:
Many Black Belts will find that their primary responsibility is to train future Green Belts and Black Belts for their company. This 8-day workshop provides Black Belts with the skills necessary to effectively train people in Six Sigma methodology.
Participants will learn the basic presentation techniques and Air Academy Associates philosophy that have made our courses so successful. In addition, attendees will practice their presentation skills and learn to evaluate their own performance in the classroom.
Participants will receive guidelines, schedules, and course objectives for teaching the 4-week Black Belt and 2-week Green Belt courses to include the Lean Six Sigma content and the regular Six Sigma content. This allows students to teach the course best suited for their company.
The focus of this course is training, but it is also an excellent review and a chance to learn more of the tools and techniques in greater depth. Students may certify as AAA Master Black Belts in one of two ways after taking this course. They may either train students, submit student critiques, and submit two projects from students in their course, OR they may submit their own project which must include the use of DOE.
Training materials:
participants receive the following items which are integrated into and used throughout the class:
Lean Six Sigma and Six Sigma Black Belt guides with instructor notes
Basic Statistics
textbook Solutions Manual
Understanding Industrial Designed Experiments
textbook Solutions Manual
Hiring exercise instructor guide
Prerequisites:
A Black Belt certification through Air Academy Associates or from a recognized service provider is required.
If Black Belt training was not through Air Academy, an online Knowledge Assessment must be taken by the participant.
DOE training through Air Academy is mandatory before enrolling in Train the Trainer.
