Vice President, Advertising and Marketing, Susan joined Air Academy Associates in January, 1995, after having careers in higher education and in the financial field. She has most recently had primary responsibility for developing, contracting with, and administering the relationships with over eighty Air Academy clients. Integrally involved for the past twelve years, she has been instrumental in the strategic aspects of the business as well as the daily operations. Sue managed and matched consultant resources with client needs, ensuring optimum benefit to the client. |
Prior to joining Air Academy Associates, Sue was an instructor of coursework in Psychology Applied to the Workplace and was an academic, career, and personal counselor at such diverse organizations as a state university, a large multi-campus community college, and a regional campus of a private college. Upon moving to Colorado, Sue transitioned career fields and spent fifteen years in management/officer positions in the savings and loan/mortgage banking industry, holding positions ranging from mortgage production manager and secondary marketing supervisor to co-founder and manager of a mortgage banking subsidiary of a regional savings and loan.
Sue has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of South Carolina. She earned her Six Sigma Black Belt designation with a transactional emphasis from Air Academy Associates in 1999. Sue has been an editor and/or contributor to the following: Knowledge Based Management, Beyond Survival, and Basic Statistics: Tools for Continuous Improvement texts and is a contributor to the Sigmazone Industries Hiring Exercise, a powerful exercise used in our transactional Six Sigma courses.
