This five-day, hands-on workshop provides participants with the detailed methodology and tools necessary to apply efficient designed experimental techniques resulting in increased process knowledge and return on investment. Emphasis is on giving the attendees the most efficient methods for collecting data and analyzing their systems. We use a blended approach, which will give the students a variety of designs from which to choose. Taguchi, Plackett-Burman, and classical designs will provide the students with a complete tool bag, allowing them to screen or build non-linear models.
We train personnel from a variety of backgrounds and this course will show the attendees how to identify processes for improvement. Our proven and powerful methodology is taught with a “Keep It Simple Statistically” (KISS) approach and makes use of many in- class examples, simulations, and hands-on exercises with a variety of process examples to ensure that participants have a practical, working knowledge of the tools. The tools covered in this workshop have helped engineers, managers, and scientists learn how to characterize and optimize their processes efficiently.
