AIR ACADEMY UNIVERSITY

In fall of 2000, Air Academy Associates established our “University” division at the same time we moved into our new facility in north Colorado Springs. The original purpose of the University was to provide world-class, cost-effective education and instruction for anyone who may not have access to corporate training within a company’s facilities. Over time, however, the mission of our University has changed to include not only open enrollment to our courses, but also certification in Six Sigma, knowledge assessment, and e-learning.

In essence, the mission of the University has expanded to provide the best of the best process improvement methodologies in a public forum and to extend the state-of-the-art in both continuous and breakthrough improvement methodologies. More specifically, it includes teaching, research, coaching, mentoring, and diagnostics with gap analysis and gap filling. Knowing what we don’t know, our University engages with strategic partners such as Semizone and the Stanford Center for Professional Development, Human Capital Associates, and our software development partner, Digital Computations , to bring the latest tools, techniques, and methodologies to the marketplace.
